To USB or Not to USB

I have had a Saitek Cyborg 3D Digital Stick for a couple of years and found it to be great. Now I've changed my PC and find that it will not work with my on baord sound card (Direct Sound AC 97).

I read on the Mircosoft Web site that their Sidewinder also has compatability problems with the AC97.

Can anyone tell me if using a USB connection instead of game port connection would overcome this problem of confilct with the sound card?:confused:

I have the USB Cyborg and it is awesome. I have never had any compatibility problems with any of my USB devices.

So I think it maybe time to change.

Have you downloaded the Beta3 driver. I use it and don't have a problem.
