How do Remove Internet Explorer 5.1

Its time for me too rid of this because i simply get too many runtime errors.

ANY responce will probally help me.

Make that IE 5.0

I think you should be able to do that through:
Control Panel.
Add/Remove Programs.

Then select Internet Explorer and hit the add/remove button.

When I removed 5.5 the add/remove entry disappeared as well. The reason is because instead of restoring my previous version it dumped me all the way back to 4.x, the version that comes with W98. Naturally there wouldn't be an add/remove entry for the version that was originally integrated into the OS.

Click on "Help" and "About Explorer" to see what you're currently stuck with. Then re-install whatever version you prefer.

It's my understanding that W98 lite only works during a clean install, although I could be mistaken. It has been years since I looked at that.

Yes I've used IEradicator from http://www.98lite.net and it works wonderful. I reinstalled IE 5.5 but it didn't dig its hooks as deep into windows and works much better.
