I find it works fairly well but i can't do much about the problems it reports so i leave it off most of the time. Not only does it monitor dial-up events such as: bytes received/sec, bytes transmitted/sec, connection speed, overruns and errors, and a other such things; it monitors a host of other system events. Like: memory, disk cache and the file system. The file system category will track bytes read/written per second and dirty data. If you haven't installed System Monitor during Windows installation process, use the Add/Remove Programs utility in control panel and select the Windows Setup tab. It will be under System Tools. I've been abit busy at work and home lately, I run my own buisness and I've got 4 Kids! and when I've got time I've got to fight my way to the pewter. By the way Bleeding and Gentle did you read my reply on my thread 'help with bios setup' Cal cal 06-23-1999, 09:54 PM sorry SysOpt.com
