Are there any overclocking programs out there? I have this crappy gateway mobo with a 400 celeron. There is a very limited amount of bios options, and no jumpers on this board. I wondering if there is a program out there that could bypass that stuff. BTW....when I get the cash, I have my eyes on a FIC AD-11 mobo with a 1.4 Athlon.:)

stay away from FIC mobos, they arent that good from my experience. I would get an asus. I generally build about 5-6 systems a week on asus boards and see very few problems.

On the matter of overclocking, there are programs that will allow you to do this by raisingthe FSB. i dont know what they are off the top of my head, but someone will post them.

I posted my first thread today and anything you get back from your's will no doubt be a help to me. I have to agree with "Dokeman" in that (in my limited opinion:) Asus has a great Motherboard for the non-richie clientel computer enthusiast. My home system (not the one I am working on now) has the Asus Pro 7 mobo, with an AMD 700Mhz CPU, WD 20 Gig HD and with the Vodoo "3" 3000, hasn't even begun to give me probs. Let me know (I will laso keep an eye out here) of any good news and tips as you go along...an early thanks if I may...Drew:D
