BH6 + Promise controller or new motherboard?

I can get a Ultra 66 PCI Controller Card (66MB/Sce Ultra-DMA/66 ATAPI Devices) for CAN $33,to go with my BH6 + Asus V7700. Is this a better option than buying a new motherboard, say the MSI BX Master? Apart from the obvious cost saving!

My PC is:

P3-700 (slot1)
256Mb generic PC100
V7700
Seagate 20Gb 7200rpm (ATA-66 I believe)
40x CDRom
SB Live
