I have an Abit slot1 mainboard (VA6) and it has an option for -33mhz, 0mhz and +33mhz for the memory. So if you use a 133mhz FSB processor you can set it for -33mhz and your memory will run 100mhz.All recent mainboards have this option I think.

Ronald

Btw,your processor will keep running at 133mhz FSB (duh).

Thanks for the replies. Thats interesting! I have a new abit mobo so that option would be very helpful.

Can a 866p3 run with 100mhz ram? or does it require 100mhz ram that will would need to be overclock to 133? or simply an 866 must take 133mhz ram...thanks for any tips.
