Hi there.
I use PowerDVD (2.55) to play DVD's on my PC. When I have TV-out enabled (in clone mode) and I try to play a DVD, I get a message that says that I can't watch the film in my TV, due to copyright protection. Is this a macrovision issue?
Any way to get through this?
I 'm only trying to watch the film, not copy it to my VCR or something else (I don't even have a VCR connected to my TV).
I use an Nvidia MX400 32MB AGP with TV-out (both s-video and composite output) with Chrontel 7008 (I think) TV-out chip.
When I try the same DVD on an ATI Rage Fury Pro with both ATI DVD Player and PowerDVD (2.55) I get no message and I watch the film on my TV.
Any suggestions?
Isn't macrovision only copy-protection system?
