After about 6 months I realized that I had a win98 keyboard while I was using win98. (Yeah shows how observant I am.) anywayz I pushed the sleep button and it went into sleep mode but when I pressed the wake up button nothing happened and in the end I just had to restart the comp. is there a way to config the keyboard to work right?? plus it has a power button on the keyboard. I just think it would be neat to have working. thanks

Jaysin, Alot of computers have a hard time coming out of the "sleep" mode. You need to make sure you have APCI enabled in your bios, Have all of your drivers updated and then CROSS your fingers http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

also, u need to install win98 with acpi functions.... what is that da** flag...
it will assign an IRQ to the power button on your pc, and u can change the function of it (reboot, sleep mode)
next time u install, look for a /flag which enables ACPI. - can't remember it myself.
