Which do you like better?
I have played a bit with Frontpage but could do without the extensions as many hosting sites (including my ISP) dont support them.
Does Dreamweaver have a similar problem? Even HoTMetaL needs certain support on sites.
I want to play around with Web sites and Photoshop 5.5 when I finish my MCSE. Also any cool links for them?

I use FP 2000 and I like it a lot especially since I don't know a **** about HTML. Check out my site. http://jaysin17.freeyellow.com/

my personal experience with front page, regardless of version, was shortlived. i can't stand that program. if you want something simple you may try netscape composer ... if you want something that has more possibilities then you may consider cold fusion studio.

FRONT PAGE 2000
***************
My experience with Front Page 2000 has been wonderful and problem free. I understand your problem with the extensions but most hosting solutions include the extensions needed to use front page. The features that are not included in Dreamweaver would amaze you. Table editing seems to be the biggest. there are so few options in Dreamweaver when building tables it drives me nuts! One of the most interesting things I found about Front Page 2000 was its preprogrammed scripts like message boards, feedback forms, and guestbooks. I have found many other database integration option that are not included in regular documentatioin that would amaze even the unscripted in web building . With front page you can make a picture appear out of no where when the url to it is entered into a database. Its integration with office and Windows programs is priceless.
I ENJOY THIS SOFTWARE http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Thanks for the replies!
It looks likes its leaning towards FP 2000.
We had a post in the spring of people showing screenshots of their desktops and **** there was a lot of guys with dreamweaver on their desktops.
Well i have a book on FP2000 and Office 2000 so I will learn it some more. As for the purists out there I will learn HTML and will do editing with notepad at some point, but so much learning, so little time. http://www.geocities.com/cyclone2_t/home.htm
That is a site I started with FP2000, the buttons messed up and I am not sure how to contain the page from expanding to your desktop (tables?)
