this iz the second time in two weekz that someone haz broken into my hotmail account and changed my password on me what iz their security problem?????

Have you changed your password to something else? You should email Hotmail support. I don't think it will help, but it's worth a try.

i emailed support with some STRONG wordz in it. and ya i have changed my password i change it about every week. but another account that i have i have never changed tha password and i have never had problems with it at all. last time i tried i don't kno3w how much stufff to get my password back but nothing workz.

Running a virus scanner at all? Sounds like maybe someone is logging yer keyboard perhaps. I have been down that road before. Not fun.

Make sure that you log out of Hotmail properly before closing your browser. I've heard that it's easy for people to access your account if you fail to do so.

well i don't think anyone iz logging my keyboard at all. i mean they would have to be hacking into a windows nt server(i'm running windows 2000 server w/ service pack 1)

The problem is that it is running on an inferior (insecure) OS. ie: M$ NT/IIS. Used to be great, running on SUN & Linux, before M$ took it over and "downgraded" to windoze.

NP, this is the best forum.
In addition to the above, make sure you're using a strong password also - one not easily brute forced. Make it at least 8 characters, using a combination of numbers, letters, & upper/lower case.
When logging in, don't let it remember your sign-in name and password, and use the Increased Security option.

Sounds like the problem is also replacing all the "S" 's you type out into Z's.
