The latest BIOS for the KT7-RAID is 3R and it is the VIA 686B chipset.

There appears to be no plans on supporting the new AMD XP Processors.

It appears that you may have the KT7A. the KT7 has the 686A southbridge. To be sure you should also check to see if the Northbridge is the KT133A. The latest BIOS is the S5S and has support for the AMD XP. You can find it HERE (http://www.amdmb.com/files.php).

I looks much different from the 686a chip layout on abits home page and it looks just like the kt7a with 686b

Another way to find out is if your CPU is unlocked (L1 bridges connected), lower the multiplier a little and then set the FSB/PCI to 133/33 or anything higher than 110. If it runs than you probably have a KT7A. There should be a sticker on the side of the ISA or a PCI slot that says what board you have.

Ppl, you're forgetting about KT7E, this is pretty much KT7 (with same KT133 northbridge) but with 686B southbridge, like this of KT7A :)

That's right. I forgot about that one. But the thing with that one is it's a blue mobo. :D
