Trying to update to the latest bios for my k7s5a, but am having trouble with the flash utility. Running from a DOS boot disk, the utility gives an error message (don't remember the exact contents of the message, but can check if needed). The only possible source of the problem that I can find is trying to boot into real mode dos (which is required, according to the ecs web site). When I run the flasher a message along the lines of "So and so protected mode runtime, copyright.... " appears before the error message appears-- leading me to believe that I am still not getting into real mode (I run Windows 2000, so I had to download a dos bootdisk utility from the internet). Thanks for any help.
