This could be cool! By actaully shutting down parts of the CPU you'd be able to drasticly decrease tempreatures! That would allow for greater oc'ing :), faster speeds in laptops (not having to worry about temps would allow for that), and a more solid preformance all around cause of the reduced temps!
I'm looking forward to this! Hope it doesn't turn out to be one of those "Increase your internet speed by 200% with one simple download" things. Doubt it will, but still a little wary.
