Just bought a 128mb strip of no-name PC133 mem (LD C128V9912808-7) at Frys for $115. Other than being untested, are there any other issues with generic mem? I mean if it's gonna fail it should fail fairly quickly, I think?

I'm using it on an Aopen AX6BC which can't really utilize the full potential, but I will use it when I upgrade to an ABIT KT7-Raid.

I couldn't find any info on this LD memory and it has me worried. Any thoughts.

There is some interesting information about 256 MB PC133 modules built with 32Mx4 SDRAM chips at http://www.syncmax.com/
Apparently the statement in http://www.syncmax.com/PDF/TN000922_256_32Mx4_compatible.pdf that 'The popular Intel BX, LS, and ZX chipsets do not support 32Mx4 chips.' also applies to 815 chipsets.
Their motherboard compatibility search engine also specifically shows that the ASUS CUSL2 fails to work with the Syncmax S256M16034-7 and S256M16044-7 256 MB PC133 DIMMs.
I noticed this when I was looking at some SyncMAX 256 MB PC133 DIMMs for my ASUS CUSL2 815e motherboard that were considerably cheaper than other similar DIMMs.
