GeForce 2 Compared to Voodoo 3

Hi all,

I just would like to know if Geforce 2 MX-200 64M AGP Video Card is better than a Voodoo 3. I know that the Voodoo 3 is great a 3DFX. What is Geforce 2 MX-200 64M really good at?

The Voodoo 3 is superior at 3dfx and very good at Direct 3d and because most games support 3dfx, this card is a good choice.

But if the games you want to play are Direct 3d, than the Geforce is a good choice.

Either way they both are very good cards.

I had both graphic cards and they are both really good.
But if I had to choose one of them, It would be the Geforce2.

The MX200 64mb is not a wise choice, it isn't a great card to begin with and the extra ram won't help with an underpowered card. For the same amount of money you should be able to get a MX400 32mb and that will beat the pants off of any voodoo3.

If you have the money instead of going for the MX400 32MB.
Which is and alright card, Go for MX400 64MB card for all the price difference is between them both.

I really perfered the voodoo 3 but it usless w/o driver support & no one optimizing games for it.Shame that nvidia f#$@% everybody else that makes video cards.:(

comon guys why are you even comparing the g2 to the voodoo
the voodoo 3 cant hold a candle to the g2 the v5 can barely do it.

PS both cards are less than $100 anyway (ATI is still standing)

None of em would fit.Nower days you ll need at least GF2MX 400(!!).The MX200 is ay double ripped GF2(GTS/PRO).It means that its low clocked,has only 64BitDataBusRam.In conlusion this Card has only 1/3 of true GF2´s performance!
V3 will not be supportet, so ya wont get new drivers.
Try ay Radeon32MB DDR.
