Just installed my 32M AGP AIW128Pro. Used the 7078 downloaded drivers, as well as everything else from ATI's download section (MMC and DVD player) as the ones on the CD didn't want to install for some reason.
Win98, fresh install after a HD crash about a month ago
MS Intellieye optical mouse via USB
Pioneer 104 DVD
SB Live Value
ABIT BE6-II MB
P3-650 (not O/C)
384MB RAM
WD 80G HD
Acer 8-4-32 CDRW
Zip 250
Parallel/USB adapter running Alps MD-1000 printer
GE 4 port USB hub
Kensington SVGA video cam
The cam and printer are thru the hub, the mouse is direct to the back of the machine.
Hooked up the TV out to my Sony 27" and fired up the Lobby Shootout sequence from The Matrix. The scene played fine, but when I went to re-gain control over the machine, it wouldn't respond. Eventually thru the Esc key and the three finger salute, I got the DVD player shut down. At that point I found the mouse was locked up. Forced shutdown got things back to normal.
Anyone encountered this and got any idea how to solve it?
