Hi there
I am looking for a correct way to adjust my monitor (brightness, contrast, gamma, etc), without using any external equipment.
Is there a program I can use in order to do so?
Thanks

For every monitor I have had, there was a control for brightness and contrast in the monitor, either on the front panel or somewhere maybe under a ledge or inside a drop down door. Some of the older ones, you had to remove the case back and find the controls. Gamma...I'm not familiar with...but I believe that would be software driven. I have another machine here that I have a Matrox video card with an application that comes with that card called 'power desk'..I believe that has a gamma setting tool.

I know how to alter the settings on my monitor.
I am asking for a program or something else that can help me adjust them correctly (something like a test screen that is being used on TV channels before the program starts).
Thanks

Gotcha... I have used the test generated screens for TV convergence ect, but don't believe I have ever seen such as this for a monitor. Interesting concept tho...

Most AGP card would already have the Brightness, Contrast, Gamma controls which you can adjust without touching your monitor's adjustment panel. It usually is in the advanced setting of your display properties.

That's exactly what I'm looking for Bovon.
We spend time in adjusting the TV, but not the computer monitor which we use a lot...
Thanks
I will keep trying to get some info

That will work Buji... I just saved them to Windows as bitmaps and can bring them up as wallpaper to set screen alignment if needed...
