I'm in trouble here.

Have just bought a K7S5A Motherboard along with an AMD Athlon Processor. I have a AGP Voodoo 2 Video Card. New case with 300W power. Have followed the instructions to the letter. Problem is cannot even get a beep or memory count or anything on the monitor. Memory is DIMM 264 168 pin. Only in one slot of 2.

I know I am missing something, but I may be in over my head here. Would anyone have an idea where I am screwing up?

black screen? do the fans etc power up at boot? then nothing?
ck your ram, make sure it is well seated and your video card.

I that doesn't work.
Tear everything out, add only your floppy and video card then boot to your floppy with just your boot disk. then start adding,
ram, hard drive etc.

Try moving your memory to the other slot too.

Make sure the jumper for clearing the cmos is in the proper location.
