I currently have a Elsa Ultra. Is it as simple as hooking up another PCI video card or do I need a special card?
I know about the Matrox cards, but I need a good cards for games too. Can I switch back and forth depending if I'm going to play a game or not? hmmmm
any ideas would be helpful.
thanks

I think all it needs is a dual head card or just two separate 2d capable graphics cards (not voodoo2s basically). The second option could be an AGP and a PCI, or 2 PCIs. If only there were mobos with 2 AGP slots..........
If you want a dual head card thats OK for games you can get the GF2 MX in the dual head form (not sure whether its the 200 or 400 version. forget it if its the 200), and i think you can also get the Radeon.

I tried running a voodoo3 pci and a savage4 agp at the same time and it worked but... I couldnt switch to which ever card i wanted with easy.. It was a little confusing. So I would rather switch my cards in and out.

It is easy. Just place any two video cards in your system and then after that there is something you can do on your computer which allows mulipul screen displays.
So you could be playing a game on two monitors.
