Floppy disc repair???

I just had 1 of 6 floppys disc damaged(a car ran over it) the outside is cracked....can I transfer the soft disc inside to another caseing? What damage could it cause if I stuck it in as is??? I need this disc, it's from an old program.

Yes you can switch it to another casing...

as long as you don't scratch it...or get finger prints on it...

you can open another floppy & take the disk out...start by taking out the metal thing, then with patience try to separate the casing, it will probably 'pop' when you apply enough force.
