I am trying to create a Ghost boot disk. I spoke to Symantec and was charged $29.50, they could not solve the problem, but was charged anyway I want create a peer to peer boot disk. It seems that the mobo ECS does not provide enough memory in dos to run this application. Is there any way to alter the memory allocation for the boot disk to run. The problem is not solved. Maybe there is a program that can do it, changing dos memory allocation. Can it be done in the bios??

Let me guess...you have a buttload of RAM, but your system says "out of memory" when doing something in DOS? That is because this is old skool DOS..meaning the first 640K of RAM. If you load anything like CD drivers, etc. then you will run out of that 640K. You must use a straight boot disk or go to the Command prompt (Shift+F5). Go to bootdisk.com for other DOSs besides MS-DOS.
Thus endeth the lesson from the old ****. (God, old at 33) :D
