The Xing encoder was also thought of to be horrible to some people but I guess that just them, from my experience it doesn't sound too bad and since it so much faster then any free encoder I have seen so far take at least twice as long it well worth the price tag of 19.99?

Xing has a really poor quality. It is fast though, but you can try Fraunhofer's @ 64Kbit instead of 128, and you'll get similar quality at same speed, and it's free.

Fast is not always good.

I think you may have mistaken because these mp3 created by xing need the right kind of mp3 player for it to sound correctly, I notice using ancient mp3 player and it sounded horrible. some mp3 player are incompatible with the type of mp3 created by xing which will sound as if it being played underwater. Did you know that fruaunhover's encoder uses the same engine as xing called joint stereo so how can one sound worst then the other?
