Hi there

I have an Athlon 700 Thunderbird @ ASUS A7V motherboard mounted in an AOPEN HQ8 cabinet.

Everytime i start a program or something as simple as moving a window, the power supply fan speeds up. Itīs very small things, that makes the fan rise and fall.

?????????????

Are you sure that it not just coincidence that the speed fluctuates when you do something?, the processor uses very little extra power doing something like that. If you make the machine work hard (games, manipulating large pictures etc) does the fan slow and stay slowed while you are doing it?
The obvious thing is a dirty fan or worn bearings, but even then I would be surprised at a slowdown with use.
Does the machine run well (no crashes)?, could conceiveably be a psu fault, but I dont think so.

obviously normal, it automatic does it to cool the fan even more when it detect cpu usuage.
