ME Found wrong mouse

I use Logitech Trackman Mouse and have never had a problem with it until today when I installed Windows ME. It appears that the installation of ME recognized the wrong mouse. The driver is listed as C:\Windows System/VMM32WD. The picture of the driver shows a standard two button mouse and no facility for setting the middle button preference. I made an attempt to change driver but ME says that I have the correct driver, the best driver installed. (But ME is seeing the wrong mouse). My experience with drivers has left me with the best option of seeking help. So here goes HELP. Thanks. PS I think that I need to somehow delete the current mouse and then make ME recognize the Trackman but I don't know how to do that.

According to the Logitech website, they do no have all their drivers for ME. My First Wheel Mouse is not properly recognized in ME, and the wheel does not work in all the apps it worked in under Win95.

Thanks 7bronko. I fixed the problem by uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse program. It installed its own driver with no trouble.
