My brother's computer has two modems, and the one we want to use is a 56k, and it won't recognize in the system properties. the 33.6 modem is recognized. and lots of times when he signs onto aol, it tells him there is no dial tone. other times he can sign on, but then he can't open any webpages, but can check his email and instant message people. i have reinstalled aol twice i think. we uninstalled the drivers for the modem and reinstalled them. any other ideas?
