Does any one know of some software that can scan negatives and covert them to regular photos, so you can print them???

thanks

Most image editing software will do this. Photoshop for example certainly does. You have to look for a function called "invert image" usually under the edit menu. This turns the negative into a positive.

The harder part is scanning the negative in the first place. Most scanners won't do a very good job of this without a special adapter. Depending on the scanner, you may have gotten the adapter for free, it may be a cheap add-on, or it may cost more than the scanner did.

To get a good scan, the light has to pass through the negative and be reflected back to the scanner head. If you just put it down on a flatbed scanner, the color and detail are likely to suffer quite a bit.

The invert Image function doesn't work for Color negatives, since color negatives have a
orange tint.
I need to know how to convert color negatives to photo..

thanks
