Is it possible to disable RAID?, for instance if you had 1 HD installed on the motherboard?

If you have one hard drive and it is an ATA 100 drive you can put it on IDE 3 so that you can use the ATA contoller feature!
This frees up IDE 1 & 2 for CD Roms if you have more than one!
In the bios set up the boot sequence to First boot device to boot from floppy
Second & third Boot Device to boot from ATA100
Disable other boot devices
Also in integrated peripherals set ATA100 IDE Controller to enabled!
You do not have to use Raid 0 Striping or Raid 1 Mirroring!
