JPG/GIF?

trying to set up a page on angelfire. tells me can only use GIF pics all mine are JPG. taken with vid cam and vid capture thingy. is there a simple answer?? help appreciated.

Use a photo editor and save em as gif's.
Open the file..."save as"
Choose gif.

Something like MS Photo Editor (on the Office cd) or ACDSee...etc. will get you there.

Yeah, once you install paintshop pro, it automaticly installs the codec for gifs and jpg's, so u can just convert them in paint or ie.

Just keep in mind that GIF's supports up to 256 colors ONLY. If you're going to be using photographs, you will notice a big degrade in image quality Vs. JPG. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

thanks for the advice, I only have win 98, so I used irfan. seems to work OK now have each pic in jpg and gif. put onr on the page and took up half the page, will continue to experiment. thanks again.
