I have heard nothing but good things about this board. I think it should be at the top of all lists. It can be screwed with in every way imaginable and it won't miss a step. This board can be stably overclocked to amazing degrees. A Duron 650 can safely be overclocked to 950Mhz!!! even with absolute stability! This is a bit tricky depending on with version of the CPU you get, (some have an overclock blocker) but this can be circumvented without much trouble. Asus designed this board with lots of room for upgrading and usage of old parts. Kudos to Asus, they had their customers in mind on this one. I haven't even gotten mine yet, (ordered it a few days ago), but I can't wait to get it so I can overclock it and screw with it without having to worry about having a flaky system, as I've experienced with the god awful Soyo boards. I would never touch a Soyo board again, even with a 10 foot pole. If you can get your hands on an Asus A7V, don't hesistate, it'll be the best upgrade you ever bought. Once again, KUDOS TO ASUS!!! I shall never try another brand again.

hmm, why don't you wait untill you get it and all works ok before you get that excited? I don't want to spoil it for you but there are issues with the A7V like with all mobos.
As for that D650 doing 950, well it's not certain (depends on the specific chip), neither is (certain) the "non flaky" overclocked system you expect.
As for ASUS allowing old hardware to be used with the A7V, well considering I had to throw away my good old AWE64 ISA for a PCI sound card, and that cheap PC100 memory causes instability, well.. you might end up buying a bit more hardware than you originally thought (not to mention internal ISA modems/TV-Tuners).
Now, indeed the A7V is the best KT133 at the moment but other KT133 boards have good aspects that the A7V doesn't. Other than the ISA slot, the main factor is the support. I wish I had bought an EPoX board (the EP-8KTA). EPoX support is unparalleled. Asus? try emailing asus and you'll se what I am saying. Maybe they allow you to overclock but if something is wrong you're on your own.
Like I said, you did a good purchase but hold your excitement untill you get it to clock to whatever you want stable
Good luck
