I'm using iMacs' to work on at college and I want to take my work home with me but don't have a mac.

Is there anyway I can run work saved on a mac on my PC ???

Yes there is. There is a program called "MAC Opener". Mac opener will allow you to format hard drives attached to the system as Mac volumes, this will allow you to temporarily or permanently dedicate a local volume for file transfer.
