Heh, before i iorder, i just want to make sure i'm not overpaying for anything. And also would like to know where I can get some parts.

First I'm ordering a Abit KG7 combo from www.partspc.com . This comes with the board, 1.4 266fsb chip, and a fan(which I upgraded to a Coolmaster Heatsink and ballbearing fan..All this for 271.15, with shipping.

Then I'm ordering 2 sticks of 256 pc2100 DDr Micron Crucial Memory from www.lynncomp.com . This is 80.00 with free shipping.

Now I would luike to know if anyone could tell me where to find a well priced(cheap) GeForce2 MX400 64mb card w/TV out. I found one by the company of apollo(found it on pricewatch) and can't recall the price..it was around 65 i think.

Also Does anyone know where I can gety a decent case and ps for around $50 .?

Thanx Sherlok-

Everything sounds fine on the prices. For the video card, I wouldn't know. And for cases, there are some good ones at www.circotech.com and www.pcpowercooling.com

Good Luck

The price you have listed for the proccessor is for the OEM unit. Should I take my chances with an OEM(i here your better off with retail), or order a retail one?

That would be $73.78 from Crucial (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?model=KG7&x=8&y=9) not $66, $81 for Registered ram.

If you plan on using all four DIMM slots on the KG7 you will need Registered DDR SDRAM. You can only use two of the four if you use unbuffered ram. I forgot about that when I looked at newegg.

The only difference between the OEM CPU's and Retail are the warranties and the OEM does not come with an hs/fan. I use OEM CPU's since they are cheaper.
