BAsically just tells u how many megahertz a stick can run at. LostBok 10-08-2001, 07:50 AM usually based on the refresh time of the memory... hence why you can run faster rated memory at slower rates and sometimes with favourable results: CAS3 PC133 can normally be run at 100Mhz, at all the fastest settings (CAS2, etc, etc) :) my rule of thumb is that you can normally run PC133 in any PC100 or PC66 system, so why not buy that instead... .its cheaper and allows you to keep the RAM if you upgrade to a faster system later on... laters! matty_rj45 10-08-2001, 08:10 AM thanks thats what I wanted to know :) :) :) later matty SysOpt.com
