I had to reinstall Windows 95 because of a registry problem and now the add/remove programs properties Box is empty.

Does anyone know if there is a way this can be reconstructed?

Since your formated the drive and reinstalled almost everything is gone. What you should have done is backup your important data before this was done. You might be able to recover some of the data by using Lost & Found (http://www.powerquest.com/apc/lf/lfdemo.html). After installation enter serial number 2453-8301-1114-7465. Have 3 floppy disks ready. Hope this helps...

Ummmmm... I don't think its legal to hand out serial numbers like that is it?

Gonna have to reinstall all the programs to rebuild the new registry.

This was a serial number that I suppose was posted on Powerquests website when they were offering free downloads of Lost & Found. I found the serial number here. (http://sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83547&perpage=15&pagenumber=3) Talk to shahani, not me.
