At ali.com.tw it says that in order to install the new alimagik agp drivers i would need to format my comp.

Is that nessary?

I think they are talking about a new build.

I am going to check it out!

Looks like you should check with the MoBo mfg. for drivers!

I checked my mobos manufacturer (iwill) but for some reason they took out the KA266 mobos from their support site :confused:

I've installed those drivers for an Asus P5A. It was just straightforward like installing a piece of software.

I would have to agree with ND, I have never heard of having to format the drive to install a driver.
What if you were an average user that doesn't even know how to format a drive!
