I looked everywhere for that file. It is nowhere to be found. Try shutting down all unnecessary programs in your System Configuration Utility. Type msconfig into Run. Go to the Startup tab and you will see all the programs that start with Windows. Remove the check beside the ones you don't want have startup when you boot. Look for anything that has a descri0ption to the right that includes the word "tinicrid". That one should definately be turned off. The rest that you don't need to have boot up are only resourse wasters.

If you get a clue what program it is,Reinstall it and then uninstall it if it isn't a needed program.

That's all I can do for ya.

Cheers!

Try doing a find in C: drive for just the "tinicrid". No .exe.
In the "In Folder" columb, where is it located? Are there any other files showing in the Find window? Go to Windows Explorer and find the folder where you have found the tinicrid and see if there is a Read Me.txt file. This will give you a clue to the program that is giving you the problem. Be a detective. Once you have found the offending program go to the Control Panel and Add/Remove Programs and uninstall its **** from your machine.

Cheers!

I found it in the registry. Do start/run/regedit.exe/edit-find
Don't make any changes to the registery!

First try system file checker.

start/programs/accessories/system tools/
system information/ tools(tab), systems file checker.

run this first. you will need the Windows CD.
