I don't think you should have delete the info to your original post. Others might be interested in looking at it in the future or might be seeing it for the first time and they will have no idea what you are talking about. This was the first time I have read the message and I would have liked to know what this topic was about besides your system being slow.

I agree with LittleKing. This forum is a great chance for EVERYONE to learn from each other's questions...
I just read your post, and since there's no info, I can't help you...By the way, why did you delete the info?

This page will show you how to get rid of some of the garbage on your machine and how to perform some system maintenance.

This page will show you how to take control of your resourses.

If you have ICQ on your machine this will show you how to clean it up.

Clean out Outlook Express folders of E-mails that contain attachments. Save the attachments to your personal file system. Knowing your file system is a great way of knowing where to look for garbage to clean out before doing your defrag. If you have a problem with creating your own folders in Explorer then check out this page:

If you have children then you might want to do a find for .bmp's and get rid of the images created through youthful imagination. They can be quite large and many.

Another thing that can slow down your machine is garbage collecting in your registry. Restart your computer in MS-DOS Mode and when you get to a C:\Windows prompt, type scanreg /fix . When finished, type win and you will be taken back to Windows. if win doesn't do as it is supposed to then do a control + alt + delete. This will do the trick.

Cheers!
