I have a generic BX board, I think it is an Excel AX330. The board stuck at memory test on boot. It just repeat memory test non-stop. When I hit Del key or Esc key, there is no response. It just continue to test memory. Any suggestions on how I can fix this problem?

Hi Willy,
This may help. 1)Use the bios jumper to rest the bios to the default manufacturer's settings, 2) set the fsb multiplier to a setting lower than the current clock speed, 3) boot the computer to see if you can get to a place to access the bios. If you can get into the bios find the bios setting for "boot up speed" and set this setting to low or normal. If the computer will sucessfully boot all the way into Windows then go back and incrementally start to clock your CPU back up to the original speed. Also, if you've overclocked the fsb (I don't know if this can be done with your motherboard or not) you may want to slow it back down.
