ok right now my power supply is at 115w...everything seems to be running fine... will i get more performance if i got with a 300w or something??how do i know when i need more watts??

To figure out what size power supply you need, add up the wattage requirements of all your components and then pad the number a little on the high side. Not a fun job but fairly accurate.
