new hard drive ?'s

i just installed a new h/d on my machine. i kept the old one and am trying to copy some files from old to new. i also am running windows ME. for some reason when i open the c: drive it wont open in a new window so i can drag & drop the files to the new drive. does any one know how to open the drive up in a new window to allow drag & drop. if not how can i get the files off the old drive to the new.

Just open 2 explorers and drag from one explorer to the other.

You can also just do a Cut and Paste of the files http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
