Know this is a long shot, but thought if anyone would know of a possible solution, it would be the members of this board.

Have recently received a DEC 2000 15/30 DLT tape drive for use at home. Want to run this on a win98 machine.

Am looking for low-cost/free software that I can use with this drive on win98. Am aware of products like Backup Exec and so on, but they are just too costly.

Anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried Retrospect? I think thet have a shareware version but I dont know if it supports dlt.

Veritas has a product called 'Backup My PC'
