At the Dell accessory store. 20% off sale. This is going to be either the fastest or close second video card. It's already a bargain at $250. I saw that 20% off at techbargains.com.

awesome price and an awesome buy :)

don't know about the newest gf3 ti500 killing the radeon 8500. In the review of the ti500 I seen it was less than 10% of a performance increase over the gf3

but again you never know we will have to see what happens ;)

The geforce 3 ti 500's memory speed is 25MHz ddr (50MHz) slower than that of the radeon 8500. Let's just hope that ATI won't F**K up the drivers...

This is the lowest in years that a top notch card would debut at. Even days of Voodoo 2, that came out at over $300. It could be that market is down and especially tech stocks. In the meantime we benefit. I think this card will be very close if not better then Geforce3Ti500. ATI already has better memory management then Nvidia and it does have more fill rate capability. This will be an amazing card.

The GF-3 Ti 500 will be a faster card in terms of raw performance, but the Radeon 8500 honestly supports more 3D rendering options for better future compatibility for only a 5-10% performance loss as compared to the Ti 500. That leads to only a few fps difference in most current games, thus this is very subjective issue at best.
