Can Anyone give me the basic concept of raid and how it works?:confused:

raid 0 is striping . 2 hd or more seen as one in windows. 1/2 to each of the two drives. doubles throughput. Sweet. I run dual 40s

Raid 1 is hardware copy of drive one to drive 2

0+1 is add the above together. need @ least 2 on the raid 0 and one lg drive on raid 1 array.

There are more but for home uses, that is probably enough. and the end of my knowledge,
