I can't seem to find the driver for my Iomega CD-RW. On the cd-rw it says Mod. L:27. There are also some other numbers : 5JAK4160TD and 420001191947. Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Bovon 10-02-2001, 12:12 AM Im not sure what you are asking...does Windows not recognize the burner?...or, does it not work with some particular burner software?.. Most evey cd rom drive I have seen will be recognized by Windows, but it takes burner software to burn a disk tazman 10-02-2001, 06:12 AM Bovon's right. Are you trying to boot off of a boot disk and it's not reconizing it? Is it an internal or external drive? If internal, are the cables properly and securely installed? When you boot to Windoze, can you see the drive in Windows Explorer? Let us know what it's doing or not doing and we'll go from there:) BTW - Welcome to SysOpt!! The absolutly best tech forum ever:D ME edwelly 10-02-2001, 04:49 PM Stringer might be implying that Iomega site suxks for drivers. I spent 2 hours trying to get a driver for Win2000. It would recognize the cd-rw as a cd-rom... i finally downloaded this APP (http://www.iomega.com/software/listing/_drivers.html) and that worked. I think thier web site is terrible I doubt that my next cd-rw will be an iomega just becuase of this. Hope this site helps ya... -:p-edwelly GrimBo 10-02-2001, 05:14 PM Go here, http://www.iomega.com/support/sup_drive_cat.html and find your product. Hope this helps. :) SysOpt.com
