BF,

It changes the text size on a web page. I found this out when I had the scroll button set as ctr games and I accidentally pressed it while scrolling. its a nice touch.

Pretty nifty I think. Personally I like the shift + scroll wheel to go back and forth through your pages. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif I've used that for some time now. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

How about Windows key, release, UU, Enter.

Do this real fast to get the expected result.

Cheers!

It was a harmless enough prank. Sorry to those that I caught with it.

Here is a practical application for your mouse with Office 97 and Word prog.

In Word 97 dragging the bar in the scrollbar doesn't scroll the page until the mouse button is released. This is different from earlier versions of Word, which showed the page as it was being scrolled. This registry settings will allow Word 97 to work the same as previous versions. (page scrolls as you move mouse)

Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Wo rd\Options and add a new string setting called LiveScrolling and set it to 1.

I hope that makes up for my prank.

I don't get on ICQ often, lately. To busy.

Cheers!

this may be an obvious feature but.. did you know that the scroll wheel is also a button? click on it once then slowly move the mouse down or up, it will auto-scroll this message. Hands free scrolling!! (although I cant seem to get the speed perfect all the time..)
