Beemers 09-14-2000, 09:25 PM How about Windows key, release, UU, Enter. Do this real fast to get the expected result. Cheers! zzzreyes 09-14-2000, 09:35 PM beemer.. that was not nice... how about... u become a tough guy again... hey.. u r not on icq no more... or u still bother.??? Beemers 09-16-2000, 09:09 AM It was a harmless enough prank. Sorry to those that I caught with it. Here is a practical application for your mouse with Office 97 and Word prog. In Word 97 dragging the bar in the scrollbar doesn't scroll the page until the mouse button is released. This is different from earlier versions of Word, which showed the page as it was being scrolled. This registry settings will allow Word 97 to work the same as previous versions. (page scrolls as you move mouse) Go to this key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Wo rd\Options and add a new string setting called LiveScrolling and set it to 1. I hope that makes up for my prank. zzzreyes I don't get on ICQ often, lately. To busy. Cheers! Hands free scrolling!! (although I cant seem to get the speed perfect all the time..) http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif BFlurie 09-17-2000, 07:57 PM Ah, Mojo, don't you mean finger-roll free? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif djurom 09-18-2000, 04:39 PM WoooooooooooooW, what can a man learn in here http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Mr. Mojo Risin 09-18-2000, 04:43 PM http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif SysOpt.com
