I need some older drivers for teh fast trak66 card. I need the ones that actually WORK with Win2K.
I had them, in a ghost image of my OS. Of course, whenever I rebuilt, I just reloaded the image and all worked. Well, this time, I lost the image. No more drivers.
I went to the www.promise.com (http://www.promise.com) website and downloaded the latest drivers.
The latest drivers do not work! At least not on a fresh W2K installation. They might work as an upgrade, but not fresh.
If anyone has the drivers that actually will work when installing W2K...Please help me.

BBA....You can get the older one's from Bdog's website. here http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.gesc.ttu.edu/pub/FT66b108.bin and http://www.gesc.ttu.edu/pub/FT66d114.zip and if you need the old flasher... http://www.gesc.ttu.edu/pub/ptiflash.EXE and then if you just want to see what he has for download http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.gesc.ttu.edu/pub/
No go. I need the FT66D130B2.ZIP file.
I tried the 108 bin he had, with the 114 drivers but it would not load.
I will try by removing the ultra66 lines from the txtsetup.sif file just to see if that works.
WooHoo!
Success at last! I had to remove references to Ultra66 from txtsetup.sif in I386 for it to work...then no problem, installed by pressing F6 on setup, waited until I got installed to the desktop to update the drivers from device manager and now it works fine.
I still want the 130b2 driver, because my hibernate does not work with the 114 drivers. ( I havent checked it yet...no biggie either way )
Thanks Mntsnow!

Thanks sweetheart!
I got it working with the b21 drivers from that, at least now it will hibernate, but it seems to hang a little on bootup. I put in a tech note to Promise...maybe I'll hear back from them.
Question is, do I want to risk trying new ones again, now that I at least have it working?
BTW: Thanks Mntsnow and Socalgal!
