Building a server

I want to build a server for my home network. It will be connected to 3 other computers.
1. Celeron 400
2. P166mmx
3. Celeron 366 laptop
It will be hooked to my dsl modem and then to the hub. I want to use it to run a dedicated server for lan games and maybe an ftp server. Will this setup be fast enough.

20.8 gig 7200rpm
40x cdrom
100mbps NIC that goes to hub
10mbps NIC that goes to modem
2mb trident pci

I would think that setup should be fine.

Why have a NIC take up space in the computer to run to the DSL modem, then just plug the DSL modem into the hub?
