Mouse speed is making me mad!!

Hi, I've got M$ intellimouse explorer, and cant find an adecuate speed for my ponter because the driver app has like 6 speed choices, 3 of the are too slow, and 3 of them are faster than ligth.

is there any app around there that can help me.
or maybe a registry option (I run win2k).

Set the speed in the middle and click on advanced and set the acceleration to low. I have the Intellipoint 3.2 software and it has 11 choices from slow to fast. :D

I have it that way, but its painfully slow!! (i was exagerating when i said that it was only 6 choices), and position 7 is way too fast

Hmmm....I raise mine occasionally one or two spots, depending on how my USB is acting. Just play around with it. You'll find the sweet spot soon enough. :D
