You mean other than System Monitor on your Win98 CD-Rom?

Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs>Windows Setup>System Tools>System Monitor

After it's installed, you'll find it under Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Monitor. Go to Edit>Add Item>Kernel>Processor Usage (%)

Windows Process Watcher--watch how much of your CPU resources are taken by individual programs
http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUToys/W95KernelToy/Default.asp Works in 98 despite what the page says.

Go HERE (http://www.mindbeat.com/downloads.shtml) and grag SEEPU. It's a little tiny proggy that monitors CPU usage. :D

Go to www.google.com and search for WinTop....

It should be part of a kit on M$'s site called Win95 Kernel Toys. I would have to reccomend this. It tells you exactly what program is using how much processor. It works fine on win95, win98, win 98se, and winME. I have personally used it on all these OS's with NO problems.

Just ignore the disclaimer M$ has put on the site about it being for Win95 only.

Just rename the file from .bin to .exe

does wintop have an option that will add a little icon to the task bar, kinda like the cpu % monitor in winNT?

On a side note, which is a better indicator of overall processor usage; cpu % or cpu time spent other than idle?
