I got:
KT7 w/ 1 GHz T Bird
old Diamond Monster just hooked up for test
256 PC133
says CPU is unworkable or has been changed etc. No big deal there. but the mobo does not respond at all to any of my four keyboards (yes the keyboard is in the right connector). The lock lights on the keyboards just kind of blink feebly.
Anyway I was hoping somebody knew a jumper change or something that I had overlooked.

The keyboard is plugged into the purple PS/2 port? Weird. I don't know of any jumper settings being that the KT7 is basically jumperless. Just for giggles, you can try clearing the CMOS. Other than that, maybe you have a bum PS/2 port. :D

Were you working on the system when this happened? if so check your power connections to harddrives, check nothing is touching the back of the board, Also if that's all fine try checking the keyboard connecion on the mobo for a bad solder joint, despite quality control they still get past sometimes, had a stereo with some, worked great, then bad, resoldered and it works great even now.

thanks for the help, but nothing seems to work. Oh well, time for an RMA#.

Just a couple more ideas. Have you checked the CMOS battery (they're cheap enough) or even the power supply? :D

Got two power supply's one a very nice Enhance, switched them out (both are 300 w). even tried my old 250, but nothing. Removed the battery, let it set for a minute. Put it back in, no apparent change. I don't have a different battery to install.
I called Micro Pro, they say these mobos were sent back to ABIT, supposedly repaired and ready for sale
