Well i've been using it for ages, and i've never encountered any problems with it. Seems fine to me. I think it is more stable, doesn't crash AS much.

JMHO, I wouldn't. Some users have no problem as you see, but reading many MBs shows that alot DO have problems. Reviews from reliable sources like Winmag.com also bear this out -- there's no good reason to "upgrade" unless there's a specific new function you need & you know IE5.5 has it. If you do, choose a "custom" install (you should w/anything you install) & only choose things you need -- IE allows you to add options later if you want.
